Dear George Hubbard,

I want to thank you and everyone else on the support desk here at Marsh for these past 6 weeks.  I’ve learned a lot and I’ve tried to contribute as best I could to the group.

Previous to my interview with Marsh I had interviewed also at Norton Healthcare with their help desk.  At the time you extended the offer of employment it presented the best opportunity for me.  Since then Norton has offered a position with them that I simply can not ignore.

I expect to begin working at Norton on June 26, 2006.  My resignation would be effective June 23, 2006.  I hope to be an asset throughout my final two weeks at Marsh.

Sincerely,

And within 5 minutes of that I was asked if I wanted a box and told to get off the computer.  EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE  someone doesn't take rejection well.  So I already called Norton and they are starting me sooner.  My part wasnt personal it was just I wanted to accept the increase of 44% in salary.  They seemed a bit personal but I didnt let it get to me...even with a week off...I only lose like 54% of a weeks pay...or 2.5 days.  No biggie when you make a move like this.
