HOnestly have you ever seen the movie OFFICE SPACE? That is my job. What I do generally takes me about one hour and a half...but if I do it that fast work gets upset...so I have to purposefully slow down and do nothing through out my days to stretch the 3 hours of work into an 8 hour day.
An 8 year old with an exacto knife could accomplish just as much as I do in my current position.
Lets talk about the useless support staff. So far we have realized that what I do is a waste of money...so then there for would be the following people...
Jennifer Martinez, Ken, that lady I dont remember and havent talked too...Patricia Wallace are all...support staff....for nothing.
Then comes my bosses...Jeff Bates is the coordinator he tells me new things.
Mark Stevens tells me how to do what I already should do.
Laura Sutter watches to make sure I am not late...she also calls my voice mail and tells me when the pictures I take of the stores is out of focus...and thats all her position is....
Then Bill Paolette seems to be the guy I need to talk to regarding my money aspects...expenses, and pay roll. He seems to also be my boss.
Katie Plush also sometimes rings in ... I think her function is to talk for other people....Dan Devito and George Escara are also two people whom I have never met and have no idea what they really do....but I know they leave me messages telling me what I should be doing in blanket mass voice mails to the whole company.
And what do all of these people do...NOTHING.
Welcome to Corporate America. Where you probably dont actually make a difference but are expected to fill out this report concerning how you did nothing in triplicate and then turn that into this boss over here while you address the questions of this boss and keep up to speed as to expectations from your other revolving boss. And...btw....the support staffers need you to communicate to you your needs.
My needs...to learn to accept this and do like they do, nothing. That seems to be the best way to get awards and bonuses at my company. The people best at doing nothing.
