1:2

And it began...in the land of Kentucky a new chapter is written. One of confusion, compassion, curiosity and calamity. Here in the third person Matthew shall attempt an objectional perspective of this world I see.
Matthew was flanked by his children. Two codependent cats with even complexity as any child and yet more simply in equal ways. Why do they seem to see in what many do not? Possibly because it is their nature to not over exaggerate the trivial aspects of what life needs. Happiness anything else is simply a means to that end.
Obviously each of us must learn what will lead us to that end.
For some it seems to be a drive to suceed and prove some inner fear incorrect. Others the prospect of fame or riches. All of us seem to long for understanding by others. One may suppose these cats are no different in the companion needs, but they seek to simply have their needs of life adequate and focus on interaction with compassion.
Matthew is alike in some regards to this need for interaction. Longing to build an inner circle of understanding that places any person above all else. Before in life he has witnessed other objects exceeding the value of friendship. Often he has himself been guilty of this cardinal sin. But throughout all actions a common thread has been woven to attempt to be the person he sees as the best companion.
Today he fails at excelling in many tasks he pursues. School is a missed opportunity to improve ones station in life. But if School is simply a means at happiness, and not the end result then it can wait.
Love is a direct influence to this happiness. Almost everyday I find myself gazing into eyes I feel are fertile to this influence and I find peace.
"The brain may take advice, but not the heart, and love having no geography, knows no boundaries: weight and sink it deep, no matter, it will rise and find the surface: and why not? Any love is natural and beautiful that lies within a person's nature; only hypocrites would hold a man responsible for what he loves, emotional illiterates and those of righteous envy, who, in their agitated concern, mistake so frequently the arrow pointing to heaven for the one that leads to hell." - Truman Capote
